Please arrive at the office with your mask (preferably a KN95 or N95) over your mouth and nose. Wear your mask for the entirety of your visit, even when you are alone in the treatment room.

When in doubt, switch to a virtual visit if you or someone you lives with have any of these symptoms:

  • nasal congestion
  • headache
  • sore throat
  • coughing
  • diarrhea
  • vomiting
  • fever
  • loss of taste or smell

I know that some of these conditions can be caused by things other than COVID, but I have to be careful in protecting my patients and myself.

If you are experiencing one of these symptoms and suspect it is not COVID, please contact me prior to coming into the office.

Text reads: "When in doubt, Switch to a Virtual Visit!" Graphic below: Lap top computer with green hills, blue sky and cloud on desktopI may ask you to switch to a virtual visit and/or get tested before coming in.

You can order up to four free rapid tests online.

This may not always be convenient, and I understand that tests are in short supply. Know that my goal is to continue providing empathetic, emotionally attuned care, and I can’t if I’m devoting energy to wondering if I am being exposed.

Please help me provide quality care by erring on the side of caution if you have possible COVID symptoms.

Stay home in cases of possible or known exposures

If someone in your household has tested positive, please stay home until they have tested negative and you’ve tested negative for 7 days after their initial symptoms.

Also, please stay home if someone in your household has been exposed. Refrain from scheduling an in-person visit until everyone in your household has tested negative for 7 days after the exposure.

Both of these guidelines are stricter than the most recent CDC guidelines and in line with the American Medical Association critique of those guidelines.

If you may have been exposed, I am still here to support you

Schedule a virtual visit to discuss your symptoms and allow me to do tongue diagnosis. I can also help you learn acupressure points you can use at home to boost your immune system and soothe your anxiety.

Supplements and herb recommendations are another way I can help you bolster your immunity and spirits. If I have what you need in stock, I’ll drop it on your doorstep that day. If I don’t have it on hand, I will have it mailed to your home.
